Administrative Support Unit, (CASU) is soliciting standing price
quotations on a copetitive basis for a period of one year with a
maximum of (3) three one year options, in order to establish Blanket
Purchase Agreements for various temporary help services throughout the
greater Kansas City metropolitan area, including the following states,
such as Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, and Nebraska. The job classifications
and estimated annual hours for each task are defined in the
solicitation package. CASU anticipates the use of a firm fixed price
contract. This requirement is totally set-aside for a small business.
RFP #7-95-0003 shall be issued on or about April 14, 1995. Estimated
period of performance: October 1, 1995 through September 30, 1996. All
responsible sources who submit a bid will be considered. Written
requests for copies of RFP should be postmarked as soon as possible and
contain self-addressed mailing labels. Requests for a copy of the
solicitation should be sent to the attention of Ms. Betty J. Spivey at
the CASU address above. Telephone requests will not be honored. The
small business size standard applicable to this commodity is $3.5
million average annual gross revenue over 3 years. The applicable SIC
code is 7363. Contractor must be based in the local Kansas City
Metropolitan area, and shall be capable of providing nationwide
services. Contractor shall be responsible for hiring, training,
assigning, paying, providing benefits and leave to, and as necessary,
disciplining and terminating its employees. The contract period begins
on the date of award and continue for one year with three (3) one year
options. Services required by the CASU, include the following
categories: Accounting Technician, Key Entry/Word Processor, File
Clerk, Receptionist, Secretary/Word Processor, and others identified in
the solicitation. Multiple awards are anticipated. Temporary employee's
salary shall be in accordance with established wage determined by the
U.S. Department of Labor. Solicitation will be issued 15 days after
