Work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to reshingle the main hospital building, the dental clinic, the community health building; reroof the outpatient clinic building; replace sanitary sewer manholes; install new unit heaters and thermostats in the storage/supply building; replace windows, install insulation and new storm drainage systems in the two staff quarters; and remove an incinerator and metal building at the hospital. The plans are dimensioned using International System of Units (SI) (Metric) ``soft conversion'' wherein metric equivalents are substituted for standard inch-pound measurements. The estimated price is between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance is 90 calendar days. The proposed contract listed herein is set aside for 100% Indian-owned, controlled, and operated firms under the authority of the Buy Indian Act. In accordance with the Public Health Service Acquisition Regulation Paragraph 380.503(e), not more than fifty (50) percent of the work to be performed under a prime contract awarded pursuant to the Buy Indian Act shall be subcontracted to other Indian firms.
