NASA/GSFC intends to procure a microfocus x-ray source consisting of a Kevex Model KM-16010 power supply and control, or equal, Kevex Model KM-16010E-A x-ray tube with tungsten target and beryllium window, or equal, and low/high voltage cables. The x-ray source will replace an existing source in real-time/slow scan radiography system. The 160kV source is needed to inspect a greater range of spacecraft materials and assemblies than the source currently being used. The overall system will be a turn-key system with a temperature range of between 15-40 degrees C at 2,000 feet. Additional specifications will be provided in the Request For Offers (RFO). All responsible small business concerns may submit an offer which the agency will consider.
