70 -- SPARC/CPU-2CE/64-40 SOL N00163-95-R-0003 DUE 051195 POC Contact Point, Robin Bartley, (317)353-7642, Contracting Officer, Robin Bartley, (317)353-7642 It is NAWC-ADI's intention of issuing a limited competition solicitation to Force Computers, 601 Lakeshore Drive, San Jose, CA and to Themis Computer, 3185 Laurelview Court, Fremont, CA for the following items in support of the EP-3E aircraft Sensor System Improvement Program (SSIP): P/N: 510329, SPARC/CPU-2CE/64-40 (Force); P/N: 510361, Solaris 1.X Right-To-Use License (Force) P/N: 102401 SPARC LXE/PLUS-64-0 (Themis) and P/N: 102480, Solaris 1.1.1/LXE-C (Themis). The quantity of the base year will be 30 each and there will be three one-year option periods for possible quantities upto 300 each. Data items will be required under the option periods. The following is the required interfaces: one (1) IEEE 802.3 LAN Interface, two (2) RS-232C/422 serial ports, one (1) small computer system interface -2 (SCSI-2) port, and two (2) Sun bus ports. The design requirements are as follows: Clock frequency is 40 MHz, Integer Performance is 28.5 Million Instructions per seconds (MIPs), Block Transfer Rate is 50 Mbytes per second, RAM is 64 Mbytes, Expandable RAM is upto 128 Mbytes via 64 Mbyte SRX module. The processor must have a single width (slot) front panel..no double width. Delivery shall be to Naval Air Warfare Center, Indianapolis, 6000 East 21 Street, Indianapolis, IN 46219 as FOB Destination. The required delivery is 90 days after contract award. As stated previously, this is a limited competition between Force Computers and Themis Computer. This is a modification to a synopsis that was issued in October 1994. (0074)
