The INFOSEC Technology Office at Rome Laboratory is planning on allowing ARCON Corporation to use for compensation its Testing and Evaluation Facility at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA under a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRDA). Under this CRDA, ARCON Corp. will utilize the Rome Laboratory facility, which includes acoustic chambers, project room, instrumentation such as sound level meters, spectrum analyzers, and audio recording/reproduction systems, and existing databases of acoustic noise and talker input, to develop new or refine current test techniques for assessing the performance of speech communication systems. Resulting test data, when not proprietary, and test techniques will be shared by Rome Laboratory and ARCON Corp.
