MacDonald, 503/672-6601. At the Diamond Recreation Area and at Toketee
Ranger Station, remove five existing underground fuel storage tanks
(two 3,000 gallons, one 1,000 gallons and two 500 gallons) and replace
them with four upgraded tanks (one 6,000 gallons, one 2,500 gallons
and two 1,000 gallons) and monitoring systems for two of these tanks.
Work includes removal of contaminated soil, moving of existing gas
house, miscellaneous concrete work, and coordination with the Oregon
Department of Environmental Quality and utility companies. There will
be some optional items. Contractor must be licensed in Oregon as an
Underground Storage Tank Service Provider. Estimated start work is late
June with a project completion time of 75 calendar days. Previously
advertised as R6-15-95-54, but never issued under than number. All
responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered in the
award evaluation; solicitations may be requested via mail, telephone,
or FAX 503-673-4017 to the attention of the Contracting Office. The
Government estimates this project to be between $100,000 and $250,000.
