A pre-solicitation notice for this project appeared in the CBD on February 27, 1995. The contractor is required to provide all material, equipment, supplies and supervision for upgrading windows, flooring, ventilation and hazardous materals removal from the Research Development Facility located at the USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Western Regional Research Center in Albany, California. Work shall include, but not be limited to, removal of hazardous materials such as asbestos-containing piping insulation and exterior plaster finish as well as lead finishes. Also required is new resinous flooring, exterior window replacement, replastering of exterior concrete walls and HVAC upgrades, all work will be in accordance with specifications and drawings. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Invitations for Bid No. 15-91H2-95 will be available on or about April 3, 1995.
