The scope of work includes but is not limited to performance of various environmental clean-up actions, tank removal, and asbestos removal and disposal, sampling, testing, analysis, assessments, etc., predominately located at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. Proposed amount will be in the form of coefficients to be applied to various line items making up a detailed pre-priced list of tasks encompassing most aspects of facilities environmental work. These tasks form the basis for efficiently describing and negotiating work orders. A separate price and technical proposal is required. The successful contractor will be selected through ``best value'' assessment based on price and technical/management factors. The contract period will be a base year with four option years. The requirement is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000 per annum. The standard industrial classification code applicable to this contract will be 8744. The size standard is $20 million. This is an unrestricted procurement. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be scheduled and announced at a later date. Solicitation will become available on or about 10 April 1995.
