WILSON, (317)351-4526 The Naval Air Warfare System Aircraft Division, Indianapolis (NAWC-ADI) has a requirement for the purchase of an Automated Conformal Coating System (ACCS) for the intended use of coating Printed Wiring Board Assemblies (PWBAs). The ACCS have the capability of X-Y positional repeatability of +/- 0.001 inches. Spray head speed from 0 - 15 inches (381 mm) per second (minimum) in both X and Y direction. The Z axis travel shall be no less than 3.5 inches (89mm). The PWB size range will be a minimum of 2 X 2 inches up to 18 X 18 inches. The ACCS shall be capable of dispensing and spraying Speciality Coating System's (SCS) Quick Cure BT-5376 conformal coating material. The ACCS shall be conveyorized to transport the PWB in line thru the coating area onto the drying area. The ACCS shall be programmable so as to save the input programs and call up at a later time without reprogramming the coating data. The selected contractor shall be responsible for manufacturing, delivery, installation, set-up, and operator and maintenance training. Delivery shall be required at NAWC-AD Indianapolis within 60 days following receipt of award of contract.
