70 -- UPGRADE AN EXISTING OPTIGRAPHICS, ALPHAREL SOFTWARE BASED ADDARS SYSTEM SOL N66604-95-R-B756 DUE 053195 POC Contact Brian Kelly, (401) 841-2442 X295 or Joseph Masterson, Contracting Officer at (401) 841-2442 X290 The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, RI intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-fixed price contract to Alpharel, Inc. of San Diego, CA for hardware, software and services for the upgrade of an existing Optigraphics Based Automated Document and Drawing Archiving and Retrieval System (ADDARS). The contractor will be required to perform the following tasks: (1) Assess existing NUWCDIVNPT in-house document development and management processes and then provide a detailed functional design and interface plan that identifies the operating requirements and capabilities that the delivered system shall meet, as well as how the new hardware/software will be intergrated with the existing ADDARS hardware/software. (2) Deliver, integrate and test the new hardware and software to ensure its meets contract requirements (3) Tailor the system to meet NUWCDIUVNPT processes (4) Provide training for six (6) students in Newport, RI, in Mark-up Workstation Operation, Enabler System Operation and Printing System Operation.
