(214)302-7521 Contractor shall provide the Department of Veterans
Affairs Medical Center, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd., Dallas, TX 75216 natural
gas sup;ies for the period June 1, 1995 (or date of award if later)
through May 31, 1996 with two options to renew for a period of one year
each. Natural gas will be used to operate the steam production and
heating plant. Estimated maximum daily gas consumption is 1000 MMBtu.
The Government's contract with the successful supplier will be for
interstate/intrastate natural gas supplies delivered at the
interconnection(s) of the integrated gathering, transmission, and
distribution pipelines of United Gas Pipe Line in the State of Texas,
hereafter referred to as receipt point(s) for redelivery to the DVAMC
plant in Dallas, Texas through Gulf Gas Utilities/Petroleum Fuel
Company (GGU/PFC) transmission pipeline. The Government will arrange
for and pay GGU/PFC for transportation of such gas from the GGU/PFC
receipt point to the VAMC heating plant. Payments of the gas supplies
will be for metered quantities. Distribution facilities of GGU/PFC are
now used to serve the plant. Said requirements of the file tarifs of
United Gas Pipe Line and GGU/PFC. All responsible gas suppliers who are
interested in meeting the Government's requirements must send their
request for this solicitation in writing to the attention of the
Contracting Officer listed in this announcement. Issue date will be on
or about 4/5/95, opening date on or about 5/5/95. This is a 100% total
