A -- SUPPORT ON SUBMARINE POLICIES, ROLES, MISSION AND EFFECTIVENESS POC Point of Contact: A. Ross, ONR 252B (703) 696-2604. The Office of Naval Research intends to negotiate with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), for the performance of analyses and studies related to submarine mission effectiveness, technical tradeoff analysis of attack submarines, submarine force level requirements, and force wide policy issues effecting platform roles, missions and planning the future. This effort will be negotiated on a sole source basis with SAIC for six months with three (3), one (1) month options. Future technical and management support services for the Attack Submarine Branch (N872) of the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations will be acquired competitively.
