The U.S. Naval Observatory has a requirement for a contract for the operation of the VLBI Correlator Facility as well as the publication of the Time Services Announcements for a period of performance of a base year and four one year options. The contractor will be responsible for the daily operation of the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The facility is located on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. The Time Service Announcements are published on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual, annual, and on an as-needed basis. This will be a firm fixed price type contract awarded to the lowest cost, technically acceptable, responsible offeror.
