(301) 286-2339. The NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) has a
requirement for the performance of inspection and testing of load
centers, disconnect switches, uninterruptible power system units and
other miscellaneous electrical equipment, which includes all necessary
management, labor, materials, and repair equipment. The work shall
include, but not be limited to, documenting equipment condition and
deficiencies and performing emergency repairs. Invitation for Bid
IFB5-32797/116 is scheduled for release in early April 1995 and will
close approximately 30 days after issuance. A pre-bid conference will
be held about 10 days after issuance of the IFB. The period of
performance will be for 5 years, a 1 year basic contract and four 1
year option periods. The small business size criteria is $7M and the
SIC Code is 1731, however, this is not a small business set-aside since
it is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
It is anticipated that this will be a Fixed-Price-Indifinite-Quantity
(FPIQ) contract. The estimated labor hours are 1150 per year. The
anticipated start date is June 1, 1995. All interested firms may submit
a bid, which will be considered by NASA/GSFC. All requests for the IFB
