Project SGBP 97-0002, Replace Frangible Towers, and SGBP 97-0006, Repair Runway 30 Approach Lighting includes all work necessary to remove existing wood support structures and attached approach lighting and replace with new supporting structures and frangible approach lighting towers. Work is to include installation of new strobes and approach lighting on each tower and replacement of several ground mounted strobe and approach lights. Notice of Air Combat Command Special Bid Opening Procedure: This action is initially 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) concerns; however, business concerns other than SDB's are also invited to bid. If after the initial bid opening, SDB bids are determined to be more than 10 percent above the fair market price (reference DFARS 219.502-2-70(a)(2)), this acquisition will be converted to unrestricted, full and open competition without further notice to the bidders, and the remaining bids will be publically opened.
