Comstock, Telephone 415/604-3010, e-mail address to Lynn_Kichline@qmgate.arc.nasa.gov This is a Request For Offer (RFO) synopsis for the purchase of brand name or equal of Stewart Electronics incorporated instrumentation filter/amplification system, Model 64GPIB/NVF, 4 each; filter cards (option 41), linear gain option, 48 each; GRIB interface option, 4 each; and daisy card option; 3 each. The salient characteristics which must matched by an offeror proposing an ''or equal'' product are as follows: (1) System shall contain four system main frames that are configured as such; (a) four independent 48 channel filter/amplifier main frames or (b) a single 192 channel filter/amplifier system consisting of one master and three slave main frames controlled by a single computer interface; (2) Each of the four individual main frames shall be capable of being expanded to handle 64 channels; and (3) The overall system shall be capable of being expanded up to 512 channels from a single computer interface. Additional salient characteristics for the filter, amplifier input/output, mechanical specfications, control character istics and environmental specifications will be included as an attachment to this RFO. This procurement will be a small business set-aside. It is anticipated that this will be a firm-fixed price contract with a delivery date of six weeks after effective date of contract award. Requests for copies of RFO2-36549(LMK) must be submitted in writing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. See Note 1.
