Requirement is for a 300 KHz Miniaturized Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler/Doppler Velocity Log. This equipment will be used/installed on semi-submersible and submersible oceanographic vehicles. Pertinent characteristics: Maximum height 22 cm; All components shall be contained in one unit, with electronics and transducer contained within an external casing; Input power between 20 and 60 VDC; Maximum operating power 5 Watts; Depth survivability minimum of 500 meters; Output data shall include fore-aft and port-starboard velocity, altitude over the bottom, hardware and software status words; Communication shall be via RS-232 serial data link; Internal recording capability at least 20 Mbytes in DOS format. -- Complete specifications will be included with solicitation package.
