High Performance Parallel Interface (HPPI), ATM, or other technology, delivering data rates exceeding 100 Mbps is sought, as well as connections to lower performance systems such as FDDI, HSSI, T3, T1, and ethernet. Multiple awards are contemplated. The successful contractor(s) will provide networking equipment (switches, hubs, routers, and interfaces, etc.), software, and support infrastructure equipment (racks, cable plant, etc.). System source code, hardware/software maintenance and installation will also be required. An indefinte Deliver/Indefinite Quantity type contract with five (5) year period of performance is contemplated. Primary delivery point: NASA-Ames Research Center, however, delivery to other domestic locations may also be required.
