70 -- SYSTEMS SUBCONTRACT FOR AUTOMATIC DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT (ADPE) Sol. RFP No. RCN-5-15632. Due 060895. POC: Curtis Stewart, Staff Subcontract Administrator, (303) 384-7389. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), through it's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), desires to establish a requirements type subcontract for all or our general computer hardware requirements. The proposed subcontract will have a base year of 01/01/96 through 12/31/96, with four option years. The base year estimated volume is $2,500,000.00. The subcontract will include the requirement to stock and provide a variety of ADPE systems and peripherals, provide on-site warranty services, technical support call-in-line, configuration services, loaner systems, and more. The subcontract will require the successful offeror to maintain adequate facilities, personnel, equipment, and other capabilities for services, support, warehousing, and sales within a two (2) hour driving distance of NREL. The RFQ will be issued on or about 04/13/95. This is a 100% small disadvantaged buiness set-aside. RFP packages will only be provided to qualified small disadvantaged businesses. The SIC code for this procurement is 5045, with a size standard of 100 employees for manufacturers and 500 employees for concerns who offer the products not manufactured by them.
