The Illinois National Guard is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a subsistance prime vendor program for the distribution of food items directly to various units located in the State of Illinois. A list of subsistence items and location of units will be included in the RFP. The units are grouped into three regions (northern, central and southern). The offeror may make a proposal for one, two or all three regions. Current certificates for the IL Department of Health, the County Health Department and the USDA are required. The RFP will also include a sample delivery order to be priced at time of the proposal. The RFP will be issued approximately 1 April 1995 and the proposals will be due 1 May 1995. A Preproposal Conference was held on 16 March 1995, minutes from that meeting are available.
