Mallgrave (301) 975-6330 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for the provision of guidance and training to Administration staff in strategic planning, team building, problem solving, and communications. The contractor shall plan, design, and conduct meetings with Administration managers, supervisors, and employees, as required in individual Task Orders. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to the following: Determining and explaining the Director of Administration's vision and objectives for Administration; determining and explaining the Division Chiefs vision and objectives for their Division within those expressed by the Director of Administration; facilitating and/or leading strategic planning workshops with or among Divisions and/or Groups; providing team building and conflict resolution sessions within or among Divisions and/or Groups; conducting work process analysis teams; arranging retreats. The contractor shall have: proven experience in strategic planning, team building, problem solving, and improving communications among diverse groups; Time Quality Management (TQM) expertise; intimate knowledge, gained through interactive experiences with groups at NIST, of the problems specific to NIST, and; a broad understanding of the goals of the Clinton Administration and of the Department of Commerce--It is envisioned that the type of contract will be an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity, with a minimum of $1,000 per year and a maximum of $60,000 per year--The period of performance shall be one base year with two, one year options-- Numbered Note 22--It is the Government's intent to negotiate with Richard M. LeFonte of Washington, D. C., the only responsible source that can satisfy the agency's requirements. (0079)
