Streets willbe paved and included concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, and lighting. Work includes all site work, utilities, landscaping, and demolition of 3 existing buildings. Site amenities will include pedestrian paths and playgrounds. Base bid will constructthirty two 2-bedroom units; Option I will construct six 2-bedroom and two 4-bedroom units; Option II will construct four 2-bedroom and four 4-bedroom units; Option III will construct eighteen 2-bedroom and six 4-bedroom units. The award of options isdependent upon the availability of funds. This is a total labor surplus area set-aside procurement. The estimated price range for this contract is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Duration of the contract is approximately 19 months for the BaseBid. The following notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assistminority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT BondingAssistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80 percent guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short TermLending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
