(513)366-2041 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a need
for a contractor to service 17 Biological Cabinets at the Office of
Research and Development, AWBERC facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. These
cabinets are protective devices for employees working with pathogens
and must be serviced by a certified and experienced vendor with either
National Sanitation Foundation or International Air Filtration
Certifiers Association certification. The cabinets must be
decontaminated, old High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters
removed and new factory motors installed. Each unit must then be
reassembled and certified for use in accordance with National
Sanitation Foundation (NSF). The type and model numbers vary as
follows:(not inclusive of all models) Germfree, TE4; Baker, NCB-6;
NuAire, NU301-630; C.C.I., 750. It is anticipated that the Government
will award a firm-fixed price contract. Requests for the solicitation
must be made in writing to Ms. Valen Wade, as identified above.
