Martin Marietta Energy Systems, Inc., a facility managing and operating contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy, proposes to sell a patent license agreement to one or possibly more companies for technology which was developed at Energy Systems and is applicable to the remediation of soils and/or groundwater contaminated with volatile organic and halogenated compounds. The technology available for licensing utilizes chemical treatments and can be operated either in situ or ex situ. Commercial firms interested in procuring a license for this technology may obtain more detailed technical information about this invention by responding to this announcement and executing a Proprietary Information Agreement which will be forwarded upon request. To be considered as a potential licensee, interested companies must respond by April 21, 1995. No licensing intermediaries will be considered.
