The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue orders on multiple occasions over the period of Basic Ordering Agreement N00024-93-G-6257 with Raytheon Company, Submarine Signal Division, Portsmouth, RI. Orders will be issued to provide up to 5000 TR-330 transducer elements for the AN/SQS-56 Sonar, AN/SQQ-23 Sonar Recorder and DSL250 Doppler Log. Orders will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Raytheon Company is the only entity with requisite knowledge and experience to provide the required services and support. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other services or support satisfy the Navy's requirements.
