NEW ARMY TECHNOLOGY PLAN AVAILABLE The Army has recently released the sixth editon of the Army Science and Technology Master Plan (ASTMP). Dated Fiscal Year 1995, this unclassified, two volume document is the Army's resource-constrained, strategic plan for Army science and technology. The Plan presents the Army's program in research (6.1), exploratory development (6.2), and advanced development (6.3). Particularly important in the latter category are the Army's Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs) and Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations (ACTDs); these are discussed in relation to future systems and upgrades in volume I and described in detail in volume II.
