The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) Construction of a two separate one story buildings with areas of approximately 1,800 SF and 10,000 SF. Site work includes paving for parking lot and sidewalks, grading, and landscaping. Structural materials include structural steel columns and roof beams, steel joists, masonry with brick veneer, concrete slab on grade and foundation. Interior finishes include carpet, gypsum wallboard on metal studs, and acoustical ceiling. Roofing materials include standing seam metal roofing and membrane. Mechanical and electrical work includes plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and fire protection. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $100,000,000 and $2,500,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 360 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a April 20, 1995.
