Notice of intent to purchase equipment from Harris Canada, Inc., under a Non-Mandatory GSA ADPE Schedule Contract GSOOk-93-AGS-6320, to provide replacement of SCADA Remote Terminal Unit's (RTU's), that are used to control various aspects of Bureau of Reclamation facilities located in Colorado. These RTU's are connected, via ECAO Microwave, to the WAPA (Western Area Power Administration) Harris computer system. The Harris computer system allows the ECAO power plant operators to control the power plants from computer work station monitor. The WAPA computer system is being replaced causing a need for the ECAO existing RTU's to be replaced with the same Harris computer system, consisting of WESDAC D20 202 & 212 MODEM, 32 ANALOG, Power Supply, 64S Status, WESDAC D20CAI, KI1 Computer Terminal, Analog Scaling Network, D20 cable assemblies, WESDAC CONFIGPRO - Extended Version, Duct Panels, Hardware Documentation, Software Documentation, WESDAC, Type 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 Programmed Memory, and training, etc. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended schedule vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
