The National Institutes of Health intends to exercise the 3rd option period under contract number 263-93-D-0201 with Becton Dickinson Immunocytometry Systems for the period 10/1/95 through 9/30/96 for maintenance and repairs of the following systems: FACScan, FACSort, FACSTAR, FACS 440, FACS Vantage, FACSTAR PLUS, Analyser and FACSmate. The contractor shall furnish all necessary expertise, trained personnel, special tools, diagnostic equipment, facilities, parts, telephone technical support, materials and supplies necessary to provide for full service maintenance. Full service maintenance shll consist of emergency on-site repair as well as preventive maintenance including engineering documentation, field engineering upgrades and software revisions. It is the Government's belief that these requirements can only be met by Becton Dickinson Immunocytometry Systems. Concerns that respond to this notice must furnish concise responses directed specifically to the requirements mentioned above. Sources demonstrating the capability to accomplish the above shall supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate their ability to perform.
