R -- ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING SERVICES, ON PROJECTS ASSIGNED TO THE NEW ENGLAND DIVISION AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS (TWO CONTRACTS) SOL DACW33-95-R-0006 DUE 051095 POC Eva Marie Scalese, 617-647-8427 Furnish necessary personnel, equipment, supplies and management expertise to support the compliance policy and environmental assessment requirements for the New England Division Planning Directorate program for the period of one (1) year with four (4) additional one year periods. There will be two contracts awarded under this solicitation. Potential tasks to be performed, but not limited to, are as follows: preparation and evaluation of environmental documents (e.g. environmental assessments, Statements of Compliance, etc.) in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, other Federal regulations, regional state and local environmental policy regulations; specialized reports on specific resources, engineering, planning or environmental issues; review and provide technical and policy comment on environmental documents prepared by others; conduct field, laboratory, and other research, and analyses to evaluate environmental conditions for projects; provide equipment and support staff for use by New England Division Staff to conduct environmental studies and associated activities; and conduct investigations on hazardous toxic and radioactive waste sites (HTRW), and prepare and evaluate Health and Safety Plans.
