Mallgrave (301) 975-6330 The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for one (1) Haskel Model 80477, high pressure Nitrogen storage and pumping facility. It shall consist of a pallet containing 10 high pressure cylinders, with pneumatic compressor systems capable of filling up to 10 cylinders with Nitrogen. The facility shall also contain a high pressure manifold, control systems to operate the pneumatic compressor, as well as pressure relief valves and ports for installation of pressure transducers and Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTD's). All items shall fit through a 2.26 x 2.26 meter opening, and the total footprint of all items should not exceed 2.44 x 1.22 meters. This compressor must be fully compatible with existing government-owned Haskel equipment at NIST. The FOB Point is destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The required time of delivery is 16 weeks after award of contract. It is the intent of the Government to negotiate with Dela Technology Co. of Rockville, Maryland under 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), as being the only responsible source able to satisfy the needs of this agency.
