Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement for six
(6) circulation heaters with control panels, INDEECO brand or equal,
with the following salient characteristics: (1) The heaters shall have
the ability to contain working substances of air, nitrogen, carbon
dioxide, and steam, or any combination thereof. (2) The circulators
shall have maximum pressures ranging from 14.7 psia to 135 psia. (3)
The units shall contain Incoly sheath material, which protects the gas
flow stream from foreign material particles, and it shall have a shell
made of 304 stainless steel. (4) quality assurance programs which
conform to military standard MIL-I-45208A and ASME pressure vessel code
shall be conducted, in order to ensure that the leak tightness of the
heaters is acceptable. The FOB Point is destination, Gaithersburg,
Maryland. Delivery is required 16 weeks after award of contract. All
responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by
