Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to modify
Contract N68936-95-C-0033 with Applied Systems Engineering, Inc. (ASE)
to include the design, manufacture, and integration of a Microwave
Diplexer. The Diplexer is to be delivered as an integral part of the
System E Power/Supply Modulator now being manufactured by ASE under
N68936-95-C-0033. Applied Systems Engineering, Inc. (ASE) is in
accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, the only
one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy
agency requirements. The Microwave Diplexer is a passive device that
couples two Radio Frequency (RF) transmitters to one common output
port. The Diplexer has the following specifications: (1) The frequency
range for Input Port 1 is 5.4 to 5.8 GHz (minimum bandwidth), for
Input Port 2 is 5.850 to 6.425 GHz (minimum bandwidth); (2) The power
handling for Input Port 1 is 4 Kw CW (maximum); for Input Port 2, 30 kW
Peak, 12 Kw average; (3) Insertion loss is 0.5 dB (maximum) for Input
Port 1 and Input Port 2; (4) Wavequide size is WR-137 for Input Port 1
and WR-187 for Input Port 2; (5) Isolation (Port 2 to Port 1) is 30 dB
and Isolation (Port 1 to Port 2) is 30 dB (minimum). Delivery will be
requiired no later than 27 March 1996, FOB destination, Naval Air
Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA. See Numbered Note(s):
