Synopsis Number: 097-95. The U S Army Missile Command intends to
procure an effort entitled, ''Joint Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
Management and Professional Support Services.'' The objective is to
provide overall project management support to the Joint Tactical
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Project Office (JTUAV-PO), MICOM in the
execution of the DOD UAV Master Plan and the JTUAV Program. The support
shall include assistance in the accomplishment of essential
documentation, development, preparation, planning, briefing and
coordination in direct support of program milestones and other decision
reviews. A cost plus-fixed-fee contract, with a basic effort
performance period of 12 months from date of award, is contemplated.
The basic level of effort will consist of 30,240 man-hours, with a
surge option of up to 15,120 hours. The effort will contain two
additional option years, each consisting of 30,240 hours, with surge
options of up to 15,120 hours. The SIC Code for this requirement is
3761. This requirement has been accepted by the Small Business
Administration (SBA) for limited competition among eligible 8(a)
concerns. 8(a) firms interested in receiving a copy of the solicitation
should request a copy in writing. Telephone requests will not be
honored, therefore, written requests should be sent to the address
above, ATTN: AMSMI-AC-MOD. A SECRET facility and SECRET storage
capability or execution of a written agreement to establish such a
facility and capability within 30 days of contract execution will be
required of the successful offeror. The sucessful offeror will be
required to perform in the Huntsville, AL and the Washington, DC areas
(in the general vicinity of the Pentagon/Crystal City). Reference Item
10 above, offerors will be allowed 30 days response time for receipt of
proposals from issuance date of the solicitation. All responsible
sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
