PRE-SOLICITATION: The project covered by this statement consists of furnishing all plant, labor, supplies, equipment, materials and transportation to replace taxiway lighting in accordance with the plans and specifications. Project includes site work, demolition of old control system and installation of new control system. The approximate length of the taxiway is 720 linear feet. All work to be performed at Barnes Air National Guard Base, Westfield, Massachusetts. Performance period is for one hundred twenty (120) days after receipt of the Notice To Proceed. Estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The project is being considered for 100% set-aside for Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) Concerns. Interested 8(a), SDB, ESB and Small Business concerns should notify this office, in writing, of their interest to bid the project as a prime contractor as early as possible but no later than 12 April 1995. All written responses must include a positive statement of eligibility as a small socially and economically disadvantaged business concern. If adequate interest is not received from SDB Concerns, the solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies to this office are still requested from all interested business concerns regardless of business size or status.
