Hickman (Site Code DODAAC) Sole source procurement to install a Mitel SX200 telephone system with hardware/software, and voice mail to be compatible with the already existing Mitel SX100 telephone system and equipment at the Carters Lakes Power Project, from Mitel, Inc., 205 Vanburen Street, Herndon, VA. 22070, for the U.S. Army, Corps of Engineers, Carters Lake Power Project, Chatsworth, GA. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract action is for supplies which the Government intends to negotiate for an award on a sole source basis to Mitel, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.301. It is the Government's belief that Mitel, Inc. is the only source capable of providing all the mandatory requirements of this notice. Other organizations capable of supplying the Mitel SX200 telephone system and voice mail may submit clear and convincing documentation of their capabilities including technical and pricing information within 15 days of the publication of this notice. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon technical responses to this notice. Technical responses and request received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
