COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF MARCH 28,1995 PSA#1312US Army CECOM, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and
Electronic Warfare (C4IEW) Acquisition Center, Fort Monmouth, New
Jersey 07703-5008 58 -- 58, RF SWITCHING MATRICES SOL DAAB07-N/A POC Ms. Gelsi Argueta,
908-532-9783,X5431. The USA CECOM Space and Terrestrial Communications
Directorate is conducting a market survey to determine the existence of
sources of automated 50 ohm RF switching matrices for operation in the
50 to 90 Mhz range. The matrix unit size must permit assembly of cost
effective systems for single sites requiring inputs of 18 to 31 inputs
by 18 to 43 output ports to multiple sites requiring 108 to 124 inputs
by 96 to 172 outputs. The units must provide both front panel key pad
and remotely setable matrix configuration as well as signal gain. Gain
must be adequate to offset internal losses and losses of external
dividers and combiners required. Provision of additional programmable
gain is a plus. The inclusion of the matrix must not degrade system
performance. Other required characteristics are high reliability, high
port to port isolation, unselected port termination, and preprogrammed
power loss configuration storage. All interested suppliers should
respond, in writing, with technical information concerning their
product to USA CECOM, Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate,
Bldg. 209, ATTN: AMSEL-RD-ST-SE-SP(G/ Argueta), Ft. Monmouth, NJ
07703-5213. Replies should include, but not be limited to, informatiom
relative to most efficient modular building techniques, cost, schedule
and availability. All responses must be submitted to the address
provided above within 30 days of the date that this announcement
appears in the CBD. (0083) Loren Data Corp. http://www.ld.com (SYN# 0206 19950327\58-0026.SOL)
