The software to be maintained will be UNISYS UNIX 5.3.1.P01, Flashback - 8 mm archiver, Ethernet - Local Area Network, MUX5000 - Local Terminal Network, X.25 - Defense Data Network (DDN), SNA - System Network Architecture, BSC - Bisynchronous for UNISYS 5000/80/95 system. The base year is 1 October 1995 through 30 September 1996 with 4 option years. Firms responding must provide written evidence of 3rd party agreements from the Contractor owning the proprietary source codes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a competitive solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that responded to this synopsis of intent or otherwise requested a copy of the solicitation.
