This bulletin board/synopsis is published to provide more accurate, current plans for contracting for some of the efforts previously included in the SAMMS proposed effort. In place of the SAMMS efforts, individual contracts for technology intensive manpower support will be awarded for the divisions of the Space and Missiles Technology Directorates (VT) and for the Space Experiments Directorate (SX) as existing contracts are completed. FOr example, the Microelectronics Optimized to Perform in Space (MOPS), for VTE, is one effort formerly included in the SAMMS program. POC is Sanae Yata, 505/846-5935 ext 141. The Business Inventory Tracking Analysis and Reporting (BITAR) and the Integrated Support Services (ISS) efforts, for SX, are two others. POC is Tammie Johnson 505/846-6923. The Inter-Disciplinary Engineering Activities Support (IDEAS) contract, to perform tasks for an internal Philllips Laboratory integration group in VT, is another.
