The work to be performed under the Beach Road Project consists of providing the labor, equipment, and materials to repave approximately 5.5 kilometers of Beach Road (SR 402). Included shall be providing a prime coat and an overlayment of pavement, milling and paving of turn outs, pavement markings, shoulder rebuilding, grassing, maintenance of traffic, and all environmental controls. The North Parking Lot at M6-486 consists of providing all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the deteriorated asphalt concrete pavement and overlay the existing asphalt concrete parking lot. Included shall be asphaltic concrete, limerock base course, stabilized subgrade, concrete curbs and gutters, resodding of affected perimeter areas, setting of bollards, and concrete wheel stops, and all other related work as indicated. Additive Alternate 1, Repairs to NASA Parkway from Kennedy Parkway to East End of Four Lane. The project consists of providing additional portland cement concrete pavement section adjacent to existing PCC pavement at Gate 2B.
