Adamo Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to modify, provide and/or install an HVAC system for an aircraft hangar, Building 3170, at the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod, Bourne, MA (Barnstable County). The work includes replacement of major gas fired equipment, including a 5000 MBTU Boiler, 10 ton gas-fired absorption chiller and air handler, provision of new steam unit heaters and incidental related work, including the removal of asbestos insulation. There are special requirements involving maintenance of the operations at the facility during the course of the work. Estimated cost of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. This procurement is unrestricted and is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES FOR MINORITY, WOMAN OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED ENTERPRISES: The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, woman-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment, and performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
