Work shall consist of but not limited to: Removal of overhead exterior electrical systems; installing underground primary electrical lines in concrete encased PVC conduit to include trenching and backfill; installing pad mounted transformers and switch gear to include pouring of the pad; installing concrete pullboxes and manholes where necessary; demolishing overhead service entrances and connecting main disconnect to underground incoming feeder; installing exterior street lights; boring under existing paved surfaces to install electrical lines; saw cutting existing asphault concrete sidewalks to install electrical lines and repairing existing pavement structure when complete; installation of wood electrical poles and guy wires where necessary; perform medium voltage electrical splices within manholes; replace damaged exterior electrical equipment; establish turf as indicated and in turfed areas damaged by execution of this project. This acquisition is being considered for 100% set aside for Small Disadvantaged Business Concerns (SDB) in accordance with Public Law and Federal Acquisition Regulation. Interested concerns should request a solicitation package from the office listed above as early as possible, but not later than 15 calendar days from date of this notice. Request must include 1) Business size status, and 2) If SDB, include certification of SDB status. If adequate interest is not received from SDB concerns within 15 calander days of this notice, this solicitation will be issued as ''unrestricted'' for both large and small without futher notice. The SIC code is 1623. The size standard is $17 million. Bids from all resopnsible bidders will be accepted. The period of performance for this proposed project is 365 days for the basic year and 365 for the option year after issuance of Notice to Proceed. The anticipated issue date is 17 April 95.
