Eglin AFB base has a requirement for Installation of Chlorine Gas Feed System 2820, Eglin AFB FL. Bid opening date of 22 May 95 is only an estimated date. In general, work shall consist of installing new Wallace & Tiernan automatic controllers on the two existing chlorine regulators which are to be flow paced controlled. The work also includes installing pump piping and meters to monitor the chlorine and pH of the discharge which will be recorded on a strip chart recorder. The contractor is to provide all accessories, wiring, materials and labor for complete installation. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small or small disadvantaged business. Solicitation packages are available at a $20.00 charge. All requests must be submitted in writing.
