19 -- DESIGN, CONSTRUCT, TEST AND DELIVER THREE (3) 150 FOOT INLAND RIVER CRANE BARGES Sol DACW61-95-B-0035. Due 053195. Contact Sandi Fletcher, Contract Specialist, (215) 656-6915. The vessels to be acquired are all steel, welded crane barges. All three vessels are identical except for some minor customization. The vessels are 150-feet long, 50-feet wide and 10-feet deep at centerline. The vessels have a stepped Main Deck and other features designed to facilitate operation of a crawler crane. The vessels are intended to support the Maintenance and Repair missions of the Corps of Engineer Distrcts and Divisions on the Upper and Lower Mississippi River. The vessels are identical Except that one will be furnished with a crane. Testing will be required including scientific testing to verify crane safety. The acquisition will be performed using a Design and Build'', Lump-Sum, Fixed Price method.'' The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be made available on or about 30 April 1995 with a bid opening date of on or about 31 May 1995.
