19 -- POST SHAKEDOWN AVAILABILITIES FOR THE AEGIS DDG 51 SHIPBUILDING PROGRAM SOL N00024-95-R-2810 DUE 051695 POC Donald A. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue solicitation N00024-95-R-2810 for the accomplishment of Post Shakedown Availibility (PSA) for DDG 63 (STETHEM) and DDG 62 (FITZGERALD), with options for DDG 65 (BENFOLD) DDG 69 (MILIUS) and DDG 70 (HOPPER). This will also include engineering and management support of PSA's, providing effort and material to perform specified work items inclusive of tests and post repair sea trials to complete performance of PSA's and emergent and other work. The work on all vessels shall be performed in the San Diego, California, Harbor homeport area. A responsible offer will be considered eligible if the offeror has previously executed a master agreement for repairs and alterations of vessels or is a ship repair firm which can demonstrate those qualifications.
