The requirement is for operations, maintenance, and logistics support to the Defense Simulation Internet (DSI) and other networks for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) Advanced Information technology Systems (AITS) Joint Program Office (JPO). The scope for this effort includes, but is not limited to the following: provide network operations and maintenance, deployment, training, exercise support, site engineering, systems acquisition, configuration management, security, schedule user requests and deconflict user requirements for conducting simulation events, Internet Protocol (IP) sessions, and video teleconferences; provide telecommunications management support to include equipment and circuit acquisition, circuit budget preparation and analysis, and cost tracking; maintain circuit status; and coordinate circuit restoration if necessary. Contract duration will be a one year base period with two one-year options for a total three year period of performance. The acquisition will be processed as a competitive 8(a) National Buy, number 7700-95-6031 and competition is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 8711 and the applicable small business sizes standard is $20M in annual average gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years.
