Only offerors cerified by the Federal Aviation Administration as authorized repair facilities for the Rolls Royce Spey Mark 511-8 engine will be eligible for this acquisition. Offerors must provide Federal Aviation Administration certification numbers for all facilities involved in repair of the engines or engine components. All work will be performed at the contractor's facility unless otherwise directed. A 5-year contract is planned. This procurement is being conducted under the NASA JSC Midrange Test Program approved by the Office of Federal Procurement Policy on April 16, 1993. The estimated date for issuance of the Request for Offers is April 5, 1995.
