TECHNOLOGY 2005: CALL FOR PAPERS Technology 2005, the sixth national technology transfer conference and exposition to be held October 24-26, 1995 at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, IL, soliciting papers for presentation. Over 5,000 corporate executives, project leaders, design engineers and technology acquisition managers are expected to attend this three-day showcase of new inventions and innovations. Researchers from Federal agencies, laboratories and their contractors who have produced important new technologies that are available for commercialization are encouraged to submit papers in the following topic categories: Advanced Manufacturing, Computers & Communications, Environmental Technology, Materials Science, Medical Technology, Microelectronics, Power & Energy, Sensors/Instrumentation, Transportation, Virtual Reality. Abstracts should be 1-1 1/2 pages in length and must describe the technology's novelty and commercial potential. Abstracts submitted by government contractors should include the name of the agency/laboratory for which the work was done and the contract number. An independent industry panel will judge the abstracts on the basis of technical merit and potential commercial or industrial applications. Submittors will be notified beginning June 30, 1995.
