The work in this project is comprised of the new construction of Building 5674 (B-52 Flight Simulator) which has a gross area of 27,000 square feet and has 2 levels. The work includes: a. adjacent site work, landscape, drive-up areas and parking lot across the street. b. demollition of a portion of the existing parking lot Renovation of existing Bldg. 5650 (Alter Refueling Simulator). The work includes: a. demolition of a portion of parking area sodding and curbing area around southwest corner of building. b. demolition of a few interior walls and replacement with CMU walls, demolition of existing KC-10 Simulator Platform, installation of new ARPTT Simulator Platform. c. demolition of existing concrete slabs and replacement with mat foundation and associated work d. replacement of a portion of the ceilings. e. installation of raised access flooring, bridge crane and associated structure.
