This is a modification to the announcement which appeared in the 02 March 1995 Commerce Business Daily. The previous announcement is modified to revise the description of engineering services to be provided. The revised requirement will support transitioning the PHALANX Integrated Maintenance System's Portable Maintenance Unit (PMU) to production and to develop a logistics support package for the PMU. Additional engineering efforts are required for redesign, development, production qualification and transition to production efforts on the proposed change to the PHALANX RF radar receiver subassembly. The PMU and RF radar receiver subassembly efforts will maintain program continuity of these development efforts begun under Contract N00024-93-C-5420 with Martin Marietta Company, Defense Systems Department, Pittsfield, MA.
